    3. In addition, we use Web Beacons on some of our pages or in some of our email messages. They basically notify us of your visit or if you have received our emails. These are also called sometimes as pixel tags or clear GIFS. And since they are used with Cookies, if you disable your Cookie, then we will only detect an anonymous site visit. 

       

      3.What we use Social buttons for?

       

      At Aubenord we also use social buttons on some of our pages and communications for third party media sites to enable our users to share and bookmark webpages. We cannot prevent these sites from collecting information about you.       FACEBOOK PIXEL, Facebook pixels are placed on our Website so that when you are on Facebook we can show you advertising that is personalised to you based on your interaction with our Website.

      We use Facebook Advertising and Analytics Pixel.  And also use both first party and third party cookies for Facebook Pixel. 

       

      FACEBOOK CUSTOM AUDIENCES, If you are opted in to receive email marketing from us, we may pass your email address in a hashed form (a method of protecting your personal data) to Facebook to create custom audiences. This way, Facebook will show you more relevant ads that are personalised to you based on your interaction with our Website. It will also measure how you interact with those ads.

      _gac_<property-id>, Contains campaign related information for the user. At times, google AdWords website conversion tags will read this cookie unless you opt-out 

       

      ga.js – cookie usage_

      The ga.js JavaScript library uses first-party cookies to:

      __utmb, Used to determine new sessions/visits. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and no existing __utmb cookies exists. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

      __utmc, Not used in ga.js. Set for interoperability with urchin.js. Historically, this cookie operated in conjunction with the __utmb cookie to determine whether the user was in a new session/visit.

      __utmz, Stores the traffic source or campaign that explains how the user reached your site. The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

      __utmv, Used to store visitor-level custom variable data. This cookie is created when a developer uses the _setCustomVar method with a visitor level custom variable. This cookie was also used for the deprecated _setVarmethod. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics

      System logs and cookies: Remarketing cookies and tracking pixels used to track customer actions on our website. This is to show what products are viewed, what products are purchased, whether the Customer came to the website as a result of clicking on one of their targeted Facebook advertisements, how long users spend viewing our website, time and value of purchases, product purchases and what pages are viewed most often.
