    Aubenord.com and its services are owned by Aubenord operations, based in United Kingdom. We at AubeNord take privacy of our customers and copyright laws very seriously. This privacy policy (the “Policy”) along with our Terms and Conditions and Cookie Policy describes the way we (“we”, “AubeNord” or “us”) collect, use, store and treat your personal information, consistent with our commitment in providing you with a satisfying, safe and user friendly shopping experience. As we know that you care about how your personal information is used from your interactions with us. This Policy along with our Terms and Conditions policy applies to all our interactions with you through all our channels (“Channels”, ”Social Media” and “all our other communication channels”) and our website with our products and services.

    1. How your personal information is collected and treated?

    • When you visit our website, and other sites accessible within our site, purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, or when you voluntary register with us or update your existing profile with us, including for our newsletters subscriptions, competitions or to receive our catalogues, or when you use our communications services, answer surveys, filling in forms, enter contests, or when you post on our message boards, or making other submissions or use on our site and/ or on our channels (including joining our social channels and pages) as well as participate in our promotional opportunities, we may collect the personal information you give us to communicate with you, such as your contact details including your name, address and email address.
    • When you use our communication services such as Email marketing, with your permission and consent, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. For this reason, and when you purchase something from us in order to send your purchase confirmation email, relevant notifications and shipping updates, we may at times share and process your contact information using our push notification service and email system providers such as Google Gmail Suite, MailChip, Oberlo in-app email notification exchange, or Shopify notifications email system. 
    • When you choose to send an email from our Site to a friend, we may collect your friend’s name and email address which is to be used for forwarding email only and not saved as part of marketing databases nor in our customer base.
    • When you browse our online store, engage with our apps, network or services, we also automatically receive some information using technologies (e.g. cookies), on your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address, location, user behaviour and other technical information about your use of our network (including device data) and site in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system to improve our future onsite experience.

    • At times we may aggregate and annonymize our collected customer information and share in various formats with our trusted partners, third parties or advertisers to help with our future product research and to improve our services.
    • When you purchase something from our store your personal and financial information will be used and processed by our payment providers (Shopify payment, Mastercard, Visa, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal, American Express) and Shopify fraud detection service to ensure fast and secure way to manage and process your payments. We will not share your payment information to any other organisation other than to our payment providers or fraud detection provider. 
    • After your purchase, based on your location and our stocks locations, we will then share your shipping information with our own internal warehouse or carefully selected warehousing partners or trusted suppliers and shipping carriers providers to manage your shipment, handling and processing. We do this to make sure we are keeping the costs as low as possible for you, whilst selecting the most appropriate mode of transport for your shipment. For this reason, at times we may share only your shipping information, with our trusted warehousing partner, Printful , or to various trusted platforms such as Amazon, Ebay, Salehoo, Doba, Alibaba, Aliexpress, Etsy, Megagoods, Wholesale Central, World Wide Brands using either their internal built-in apps, or our own built-in apps or third party exchanges including Oberlo and Spocket to share your shipping information to our suppliers across these platforms under Home, Apparel, Accessories, Mens and Women and Kids wear, Pets clothing and accessories categories. 
    • When you purchase something from us, we also share your some of your information such as order number and email address to our shipment tracking system so you can monitor your shipment status on our site. 
    • Our website and social channels are intended for use by Adults only. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under age of 16 in EU (or applicable laws in each country for online purchases). Those under the age of 16 (or applicable laws in each country for online purchases) must not use the Site or provide AubeNord with any Personal Information.
      2. Why we collect information?
      • To provide you with best user experience and tailored content on our Site and through all our channels.
      • To efficiently communicate, manage, process and deliver our services (including payment processing, shipping) to you and respond to your questions.
      • To communicate with you regarding our services, updates, launches, offers and promotions as well as key user updates.

      • To monitor, investigate, prevent and action on any violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable use of our Policies or illegal and suspicious activities.
      3. Consent, Use and Retention of Personal Information
        • We will collect, or use or disclose your Personal Information only with your knowledge and consent, including as set out in the Policy, except where otherwise required or permitted by Law.
        • When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Implied consent can be obtained through a variety of ways and channels, such as when a customer relationship already exists, express consent has previously been given, or the purpose of using the Personal Information is reasonably clear to you.
        • Where applicable, should you choose our “quick shopping” option, you expressly authorized us to process and store the data as indicated and necessary for this service activation and delivery. The Card-Verification-Value code (CVV) will only be used for the purchase in progress and will not be stored or processed subsequently as part of your cards data. By giving us your consent to activate this service, you have allowed your data to auto fill for subsequent purchases on our site, so you do not have to enter data in each new process, and as such consent is valid throughout all and each subsequent purchases. You can update/ revoke your consent for this service at any time through My account section – Cards. Your data is stored and transmitted in accordance to confidentiality and main standards of credit cards, debit cards or any other payment methods. In accordance with safely use of our site, you are also responsible to protect and conserve your key/ passwords and keep them confidential. 
        • If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
        • We are part of and work with a network of retailers offering a unique mix of products. We share your Personal Information where relevant with our network of companies and partners so we can notify you about our products, services, rewards and special offers you might enjoy.         • We may retain your personal data for as long as your relationship with us is active by having an Aubenord account, or as otherwise needed to provide you our Services.
        • If you choose to terminate your relationship with us either by deleting your account or by contacting us to do so, we may continue to store copies of your personal data as reasonably necessary to comply with law and our legal obligations, to resolve any future disputes, tax obligations, to prevent fraud and abuse, to enforce our agreements, and/or to protect our legitimate interests.
        4. Disclosure
          • Personal Information will not be used, stored or disclosed for any other purposes than those for which it was collected (as outlined in this Policy).
          • And when making a purchase on our site, your personal data and financial information will be shared to our payment providers and fraud detection provider. We will then share the purchase transaction information and necessary contact details to our partner shipping providers, warehouses, merchants and shipping carriers for onward shipping purposes.
          • In some occasions, we may also provide Personal Information to our other partners or third parties such as when to respond to emergencies. Or to assist with identity verification, to prevent fraud and identity theft or to enforce our agreements and property rights.
          • We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so in each of our jurisdictions or if you violate our Terms of Service.
          5. Accuracy
            • Your Personal Information will be kept as up-to-date, accurate and complete as reasonably possible and as necessary for the purposes of it to be used.

            • In instances where your personal information was provided by a third party, we will refer you to that third party.
            6. Payment
            • We use Shopify platform and other trusted payment providers (such as Paypal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay) for payment processing on our site. 
            • If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
            • All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
            • PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

                            • You have the right to access, rectify, erase and object the information we hold about you based on 1998 data protection act in UK as well as based on European General Data Protection (GDPR) act in 2018. 
                            • Please contact us with your enquiries and we will respond as soon as we can.
                            • Kindly note, by law we need to retain certain key financial and personal information for tax purposes for up to 2 years. As such we may not be able to agree to deletion of such requests.
