Walkabout Rear Lift Dog Harness
Help your dog stand and step with fitted rear support.
A towel is not always convenient for repeated assistance. The Walkabout Rear Lift harness uses separate leg openings, 2 mm neoprene and dedicated handles to support the hindquarters.
The linked option is Small, for a 13–17-inch abdomen. Also check upper-thigh fit and handle reach. Choose it for rear assistance when the front legs can manage.

A HELPING HAND FOR THE BACK LEGS
A fitted handhold for repeated rear assistance.
Walkabout fits around the hindquarters with padded leg openings, rather than placing a loose band beneath the body. That construction is the reason to compare it with a sling. The abdomen, thigh and handle measurements below help you judge the fit for both dog and caregiver.

FIT, USE & SAFETY
Check your reach as well as your dog’s fit
Measure around the abdomen just ahead of the rear legs, then around the upper thigh where it meets the body. Use both measurements in the chart. Next check the handle length: you need to stay close and support the rear without lifting it simply to reach your grip. At the first fitting, have the support demonstrated and check that the leg openings and toileting areas stay clear.

AUBENORD VERDICT
For handlers who need fitted rear support rather than a loose lifting band.
The fitted leg openings keep the support around the hindquarters during short trips. This is the option to compare when the front legs can manage and the rear needs your help.
