UK RECOMMENDATIONS

Food, Skin & Everyday Health

Everyday products for feeding, dental care, skin care and practical health routines — including items used with Loui and carefully selected external recommendations. These products support day-to-day care and do not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment.

Everyday health

Keep feeding and routine health products separate from IVDD treatment claims

These products can support normal daily care, comfort and household routines, but they do not treat IVDD. Where a dog has neck pain, swallowing difficulty, skin disease or a prescribed diet, product choice should follow the veterinary plan.

Feeding setup

Neutral posture matters more than height alone

Raised bowls are not universally better. Use the height and angle that lets the individual dog eat comfortably without strain.

Diet

Do not replace a prescribed diet casually

Veterinary foods and elimination diets should be used as directed rather than switched because another product appears more convenient.

Skin & dental care

Follow diagnosis and label directions

Topical and dental products belong in routine care, but persistent symptoms need veterinary assessment rather than product escalation.
