For Loui’s weekly face-fold routine, we gently wipe through the folds, especially where moisture and debris can collect, then leave the area unrinsed. If a dog has recurring redness, odour, discharge, swelling or pain, get the skin problem assessed rather than assuming every fold needs antiseptic care.
