Fit it to your dog’s shape
Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Use the guide below to narrow the choice, then check the selected Amazon version. Once fitted, the front panel should stay clear of the throat, the straps clear of the armpits and the shoulders free to move.
The retailer’s TLH5651 chart below separates your dog’s recommended chest measurement from the larger range on the harness label. For example, Large is recommended for a 64–76 cm chest and a 39.5–56.5 cm neck; its harness-label chest range is 69–81 cm. Use the recommended dog measurements when selecting a size.

These are the recommended measurements of your dog, not the larger ranges printed on the harness label. Measure the widest part of the chest and check the neck too. If the chest measurement approaches the top of a range, the retailer suggests choosing the next size up; check that the neck range also fits.
