Will the slope be manageable?
A higher vehicle needs more ramp length for a gentler gradient; measure the setup before buying.
Easier car access, with a ramp that packs down.
The PetSafe Happy Ride ramp bridges the gap to the car without a jump, when ramp use is suitable for your dog. Its telescoping design extends from 71 to 178 cm, then slides down for carrying and storage. Check your car’s loading height and that you can comfortably handle its approximately 6 kg weight.

Adjustable car access
Make the first introduction a calm one: practise on flat ground according to PetSafe’s guidance before asking your dog to use the ramp at the car. Then check the loading height, the space for you to stand alongside and where the ramp will go once your dog is inside. Adjustable reach is useful when those everyday details work together.

WHAT TO CHECK FIRST
A higher vehicle needs more ramp length for a gentler gradient; measure the setup before buying.
Check the contact point, doorway and clearance, including the ramp’s 41 cm overall width.
Follow your dog’s movement restrictions and agree any assisted ramp use with the treating team.
Allow room for the retracted ramp and check that you can lift its 6 kg weight comfortably.
FIT, USE & SAFETY
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for placing and securing the ramp. Check the contact at both ends, the surface grip and the route into the car. Stay close and use any prescribed support; raised edges do not replace assistance.

THE QUICK DECISION
The adjustable length lets you balance vehicle access with compact storage.
The available length and vehicle height determine the slope. The Compact model supports pets up to approximately 136 kg; follow PetSafe’s setup instructions.
