WHY THIS ONE

Why we recommend it

It creates a tactile cue that encourages the dog to lift the paw without forcing it into position. That can be useful in a structured rehab plan for selected dogs that knuckle or drag.

AT A GLANCE

What stands out

Sensory feedback rather than rigid paw positioning
Front and rear versions available
Adjustable touch-fastener closure
Extra fleece padding
Designed specifically for short anti-knuckling training sessions
REHAB FIT & DURATION

Measure paw to hock, then keep sessions brief

For the rear-leg version, measure from the top of the paw to the hock. Current manufacturer guidance: XS 1.25–2.25 in / 10–15 lb; S 2.25–3.25 in / 15–30 lb; M 3–4.25 in / 30–60 lb; L 4–6 in / 60–80 lb; XL 5–7 in / 80+ lb. Size up if between sizes. This remains a short supervised training aid, typically 2–5 minutes, then remove.

PRACTICAL CHECKS

What to check before buying

Before you order
  • Use only as a short supervised paw-placement training aid, not an all-day sock
  • Current manufacturer/retailer guidance limits sessions to roughly 2–5 minutes, then remove
  • Longer wear can rub between the toes and cause injury or bleeding
  • Measure paw-to-hock carefully and size up if between sizes
  • Use within a veterinary rehabilitation or physiotherapy plan
  • Inspect toes, webbing and skin after every session
