Does your dog need support at both ends?
If the front legs are strong and stable, a simpler rear sling may be enough. Full-body support earns its place when control is needed through the chest and pelvis together.
Need more controlled lifting support than a simple rear sling can provide?
Help ’Em Up combines front and rear handles with chest and pelvic support, giving you more control during assisted standing and transfers. Have the fit and Hip Lift version checked for your dog, including clearance for toileting.

FULL-BODY LIFTING SUPPORT
The useful difference comes at the moment you need to help your dog stand, turn or transfer: one handle at the chest and another at the pelvis gives you two deliberate lifting points. Practise the movement with your care team, then check you can reach both handles comfortably in the places you will actually use them—beside the bed, at the door and during toilet breaks.

WHAT TO CHECK FIRST
If the front legs are strong and stable, a simpler rear sling may be enough. Full-body support earns its place when control is needed through the chest and pelvis together.
Use weight as a starting point, then check neck, chest and waist. Help ’Em Up offers five main sizes plus Mix & Match combinations.
Dedicated lifting points at both ends can make repeated toileting trips and short transfers easier to control than juggling separate towels or slings.
Check the armpits, chest, abdomen, pelvis and groin after fitting and after short use. Support should reduce wobble without creating rubbing or pressure.
FIT, USE & SAFETY
Use weight as a starting point, then measure neck, chest and waist against Help ’Em Up’s chart. Mix and Match allows different front and rear sizes.
Choose the Hip Lift around anatomy: the manufacturer’s Conventional style suits female dogs and most males. The U-Band leaves extra clearance for males whose penis sits further back between the hind legs. Ask the supplier to confirm if unsure.
The front and rear sections have built-in handles. Optional walking handles and straps are separate choices; check the selected pack. Recheck contact points and toileting clearance after fitting.

THE QUICK DECISION
The biggest advantage is controlled support at both ends, with enough adjustment to fit dogs whose front and rear proportions do not match neatly.
It is more substantial than a rear sling and may be unnecessary when only the hind end needs help. The support level should match the dog’s actual handling needs.
Dogs with significant weakness who need assistance through both the front and rear of the body for standing, toileting or short transfers.
