Why we recommend it
It solves a problem boots cannot fully solve: whole-area protection when a dog with severe rear weakness or paralysis moves by scooting or dragging without a wheelchair. The smooth nylon takes the floor contact while fleece protects upper contact points and mesh adds ventilation.

Manufacturer currently advises weight as the primary reference and measuring from the last rib to toes or rump depending on how the dog drags.
What to check before buying
Before you order
- Treat it as friction protection, not a walking aid or IVDD treatment
- Do not use it to cover untreated sores or wounds and continue dragging over them
- Inspect the chest, belly, paws, hocks and skin before and after use
- Keep damp fabric away from the skin and manage incontinence promptly
- Do not use it to permit extra movement where strict restriction has been prescribed
