My Duque COOPER Dog Stroller | Used by Loui
When your dog needs a rest, the day out doesn’t have to end.
A wheelchair helps your dog join the outing. A stroller gives them somewhere to rest along the way. With Loui, we needed both, plus room for his care supplies.
After cheaper prams let us down, the COOPER became the one we relied on. Its roomy cabin, sturdy build, large wheels and suspension made it worth the extra money for us. It is bulky, so check the folded size and weight against your car and what you can comfortably lift.

WHY WE CHOSE THIS ONE
The stroller we kept for proper days out.
We learned that the hard way. We spent a couple of hundred pounds on cheaper prams before moving to the COOPER, and the cheaper ones did not last.
For us, the extra cost has paid off in a sturdier feel, more room for Loui and durability through appointments, sightseeing and travel.
It is not the lightest option, but that extra substance is exactly why we kept it.

Ride quality
Think about the route you actually take: narrow doorways, kerbs and the space to turn. Our large-wheel setup has felt more composed than the small rigid-wheel prams we tried.

Easy cabin access
Front and rear entry gives you more choice when you want to avoid unnecessary jumping, twisting or scrambling.

Room to settle properly
The cabin gives Loui room to sit or lie comfortably. The size graphic lists a 76 × 38 cm lying area and a carrying capacity of up to 32 kg; check both space and weight for your dog.

Storage reality
Measure the boot opening as well as the space inside it. Leave room for your wheelchair and care bag, then consider how often you will lift the folded stroller.
CABIN FIT & PRACTICALITY
Check your dog, your car and your storage space
The right stroller has to work for the whole journey, not just the dog.
The size guide shows a 76 × 38 cm lying area, 56 cm enclosed cabin height and 28 cm cabin-side depth. Carrying capacity is up to 32 kg. These are cabin measurements, not folded dimensions: ask the seller for the folded size before checking it against your boot and storage space.
- Give your dog proper room. They should be able to sit or lie naturally and settle comfortably.
- Measure your boot and storage space. The COOPER is sturdy rather than ultra-light, so its size is worth planning for.
- Think about lifting. If you will move it in and out of the car often, make sure that feels manageable for you.

Why it feels more substantial
Frame
A sturdy metal frame gives the stroller the more solid feel we noticed immediately compared with the cheaper prams we had used before.
Cabin
Durable polyester fabric with tear-resistant mesh panels for airflow, visibility and enclosure.
Wheels + suspension
Puncture-proof EVA wheels with suspension help smooth out everyday outdoor routes. The front wheel swivels for manoeuvrability and can lock forward when needed.
Interior + canopy
A removable washable mattress gives Loui a comfortable place to settle, while the adjustable canopy provides useful shade on sunny days and some cover in light rain or changeable weather.
A REAL-WORLD LESSON
The stroller and wheelchair work better together.
For Loui, the COOPER is not a replacement for his wheelchair. It gives him somewhere comfortable to ride and rest when a longer outing is too much to cover in wheels alone.
We also take Loui’s Walkin’ Wheels setup, which fits inside our stroller. Check your own chair’s packed shape separately from the space your dog needs to rest; this is not a promise that every wheelchair and dog will fit together.

Would we buy it again for Loui? Yes.
The COOPER has been the stroller that finally worked for us. It is sturdier, roomy enough for Loui and his mobility setup, and practical enough for the longer outings, sightseeing and travel where we need it most.
It costs more than a basic pram, but for us it has been much better value.
