WHY THIS ONE

Why we trust it

Used extensively with Loui for IVDD mobility, longer outings and travel, including trips to France. We broke two cheaper prams before buying the COOPER. Loui’s Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair also fits inside, which makes mixed stroller-and-wheelchair days much easier for us.

CABIN FIT & PRACTICALITY

Check your dog, your car and the load limit

Check the exact current cabin dimensions and seller-stated load limit before ordering. Current retailer listings conflict on the COOPER’s maximum load, so Aubenord does not publish one definitive capacity. Make sure your dog has room to sit or lie naturally.

AUBENORD VIEW

Why this earns a place on Aubenord

We kept the COOPER because its sturdier build, generous cabin and practical travel features solved problems the cheaper prams did not. It gives Loui a comfortable place to ride and rest while still letting us carry his wheelchair and switch between assisted walking and stroller travel when appropriate.

PRACTICAL CHECKS

What to check before buying

Before you order
  • Expect some bulk — check boot space, home storage and whether you can lift the folded stroller comfortably
  • Verify the exact seller’s current cabin dimensions and load limit; listings conflict on capacity
  • Give your dog enough room to sit or lie naturally
  • Load an IVDD dog without unnecessary jumping, twisting or scrambling
  • Use the internal security points appropriately
  • Remember a pet stroller is for travel and rest on foot, not a substitute for an approved vehicle restraint
